You know.... those unspoken, silent but obvious messages being sent your direction by circumstances or people. Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson really put into words the whole idea of "Handwriting on the Wall."
So just a thought on those messages:
First....just because you ignore them doesn't mean they are going away or aren't real!
Second...don't over react to those messages....until you look them over a bit!
Third...some messages you just cant read until you are ready!
Check out the handwriting and the paper.....
If the message is written in crayon....pay attention but remember their little minds change a million times a day
If it's written in graffiti.....you should LISTEN to what's REALLY being said...cause it wasn't what you heard!
If it folded it's clothes, cleaned up it's room and said thank you....they want something REALLY BAD!
If there is NO MESSAGE.....they are in college, you are not on their mind but in their heart!
If it comes in red lipstick....just make sure it's the right shade and smile!
If it comes in 12 long stems, delivered at work...accept his apology!
If the handwriting on the wall is silence....it may just be a request for space (so shut up).
If you get it again and again.....its a message to move on. Something better is waiting around the bend.
Should the message come in Hebrew, Greek or red letter...Listen up and go take a closer look! It's unconditional love.
I'm pretty slow...and it takes me a while to read some handwriting. But for sure...I'm better at reading the handwritting on the wall....after a good nights sleep!
